Who we are
Altna Software Inc. ("Altna", "we", "our") operates the trading room platform at altna.com and trading-room.net. We're based in Orlando, Florida, and you can reach us at inquiries@altna.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account data — name, email, password, and the chat room name and slug you choose at signup.
- Billing data — handled by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our servers; Stripe gives us a customer ID, the last four digits, and the country/zip you enter.
- Room content — chat messages, trade alerts, video stream metadata, files, and other content you or your members post inside a room.
- Usage data — IP address, browser, device, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this for security, debugging, and aggregate analytics.
- Cookies — session cookies for authentication, plus cookies set by services we use (e.g. analytics).
How we use it
- To provide the service: authentication, billing, video streaming, chat, alerts.
- To communicate with you about your account, trial status, billing, security, and product changes.
- To improve the platform — debugging, performance monitoring, aggregate analytics. We do not sell personal data.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share data only with vendors that help us run the service:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- SendGrid — transactional email.
- Twilio — SMS verification for demo access.
- GoHighLevel — CRM for sales inquiries.
- Ant Media Server — live video streaming infrastructure.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect Altna, our users, or the public.
Where data lives
Your data is stored on servers in the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., your data is transferred to and processed there.
How long we keep it
We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterwards for legal, tax, and audit purposes. Room content stays available as long as the room exists; deleting a room permanently removes its messages, alerts, and uploads from our active systems.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct or update inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Export your data in a portable format.
Email inquiries@altna.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
Altna is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the account.
Security
We use TLS for data in transit, encryption at rest, and strict access controls inside our team. No system is perfect — if we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we'll also email account holders.
